LG's Rollable Phone Code Named As 'Project B' is set to launch in June 2021.

LG's Rollable smart phone codenamed 'Project B' will be unveil next year (2021) June. TheElec claims that Project B is named along by it's CEO Kwon Bong-seok. Production of the prototype has begun in it's factory at Pyeongtaek which is in South Korea. A South Korean Company has filed patent for a smartphone case earlier which will set to pack a large flexible display. This phone will proclaimed that it will 'Rollable smartphone' as it's secondary display can be rolled out from the side. A separate report by LetsGoDigital has last year suggested that extendable displays may be future.

A company source made a point that developing a Rollable smartphone is not much Complicated than developing a Foldable phone. " Foldable display need much consistent to withstand the pressure at a small area but it is not in the case of Rollable displays they dissipate the pressure to a wider area" Source claimed. LG is yet to confirm the 'Project B' is a Rollable smart phone.

Previously LG had showcased it's Rollable tv called Oled Tv R in CES (Consumer Technology Association) 2019. 

LG had also launched a Dual display smartphone earlier named LG G8X. Which was promptly promoted as foldable smartphone in some markets which is not a correct word for the device. 

LG going to launch Two Flagships in the coming year 2021.

LG is going to launch it's two flagships code named as Rainbow and Wing next year. A company source said that codenamed Rainbow phone will be launched in the first half of 2021 and the second one would be launching later 2021. And specs of the both phones are unclear till now.It would be the great opportunity for LG to show there strength in the Smartphone segment.
