Samsung have been a largest mobile phone manufacture in the world where it is also one of the first company who unveiled folding smartphones to us. Samsung have built a lot of curiosity and anticipation in there fans on Samsung Galaxy Fold successor. Reports claim that Galaxy Fold series will be further named as Galaxy Z Fold. While the predecessor has failed but samsung grounded on there Z flip clamp shell smart phone. There are speculations that samsung's all foldable devices will be categorized into Z series.
Earlier a Samsung's SpokesPerson back in february in an interview explained the reason behind the name convention. "We chose 'Z' for this series because it's intuitively communicates the idea of fold while delivering a dynamic youthful feel". And in US Samsung Site the regular Galaxy Fold is clubbed in Galaxy Z category. This means further in future samsung could offer all it's Samsung Galaxy Fold devices in Galaxy Z category. Samsung Could also bring a new category on the other hand for some other kind of foldable devices. The reports share that the successor could be cheaper than the predecessor and this Z fold 2 can also have a wider and larger display with latest version of ONE UI.

Samsung could have an online event on August 5th. Where it plans to launch there Flagship's Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 ULTRA, Galaxy Z Flip 5G (Expected), Galaxy fold's Successor. Samsung competitors Oneplus announced that on July 21st they are going to unveil there mid range smartphone Oneplus NORD and Asus is going to bring there ROG gaming smartphone on 22nd July.
