Asus has unveiled their ROG series successor ROG Phone 3. The design of this phone looks like it's predecessor ROG 2. But Asus has changed the phone from the perspective of Performance and Speeds. Let us find the specifications of Asus ROG Phone 3.

Asus ROG Phone 3 Specifications & Features.

Asus ROG Phone runs on Android 10 with ROG UI on top of it. It features a 6.59" Full HD+ Amoled Display along with 144 Hz.. Screen refresh rate, 270 Hz.. touch sampling Rate and HDR 10+ Support with in screen Finger Print Sensor. Display is covered up by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 6 Protection. Under the line Asus has introduced for the first time Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor which is clocked at 3.1GHz.. with Adreno 650 GPU and upto 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that does't support MicroSD card but the phone does have NTFC support for external USB drives.

This phone has Triple Rear Camera setup which includes Sony IMX686 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 lens, A 13MP Secondary sensor with 125 degree Ultra wide angle lens and a 5MP sensor with f/2.0 macro lens. Rear camera can support 8k 30fps video recording. In the front a single 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 lens.

Asus ROG Phone 3 supports 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS with NavIC, USB Type C, And a 48 Pin Side port for gaming accessories. ROG has a special feature of Ultra Sonic Sensor for Air Trigger and Squeeze to Assistant support. It comes with Front Firing Stereo Speakers powered by ROG GameFx and Derac HD Sound Technology.

Asus ROG Phone 3 Packs up with a Huge 6000mAh Battery with charging support upto 30 watt. It is good to see a huge battery but the phone also weighs about 240 grams.

Asus includes GameCool 3 heat dissipating system with a redesigned copper 3d vapour chamber and a larger graphite film over what's available on it's predecessor ROG Phone 2.

Asus has launched 2 variants in India with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM + 128GB UFS 3.1 Storage which is priced at Rs.49,999/- and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB UFS 3.1 Storage price tagged at Rs.57,999. These two phones comes with an Aero Case and the top end variant also includes Aero Active Cooler 3 Accessory. ROG Phone 3 Bundles with 30 watt Fast charger and a type-c to 3.5mm HeadPhone jack Adapter. Along with the phone Asus has launched their ROG Gaming Accessory which will be sold along with the Asus ROG Phone 3. Asus ROG Phone 3 will go on sale through Flipkart on August 6th 2020 at 12PM IST.
